The Madrid is our 6ft super king ottoman TV bed in a natural woven fabric. A 43" television rises out of the footboard at the touch of a remote, and drops back out of sight when you're done — and the entire base underneath lifts for storage.

The television

• Takes a TV up to 43", maximum depth 9cm. Space for the screen measures 98cm wide × 58cm high × 9cm deep.
• Remote controlled, so you can set the viewing angle from the pillow.
• A quiet motor, and the TV switches itself off as it lowers back into the footboard.
• The television is not included. Send us your model number and we will confirm it fits before you order.

The storage

A full-size ottoman base: the mattress platform lifts to give you the space under the whole bed for bedding, clothes and the things that have nowhere else to go. The headboard is deliberately slim, so the bed takes less room than its size suggests.

Size

• Super King (6ft) — frame 232cm long × 189cm wide × 116cm high. Takes a standard UK super king mattress, 180 × 200cm.
• Measure the room before ordering, and leave clearance at the foot for the screen to rise and the base to lift.
• Also available in grey velvet.

Delivery and guarantee

Free delivery across mainland UK. Our own two-person team brings it into your bedroom, assembles it, clips your TV to the bracket and runs the lift with you before they leave. 5-year guarantee on the frame and the lift mechanism, 2 years on the upholstery.

Full dimensions and the maximum screen size are listed in the description above. The stated TV limit is a hard limit — exceeding it damages the mechanism and voids its guarantee. Send us your TV model number and we will confirm the fit before you order.

Free to mainland UK. Built to order in our own workshop, then delivered by our own team — into the room you choose, assembled, with the lift tested before they leave and the packaging taken away. Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and offshore addresses are quoted separately before you pay.

Five years on the frame and the lift mechanism, and two years on the upholstery. Most faults are fixed by posting you the replacement part; if that will not resolve it, we collect the bed and repair it at the workshop. Both are free, including carriage.

Fourteen days from delivery to change your mind. Our beds are built to order in standard sizes and fabrics, so that right applies in the normal way. We collect free of charge and refund within 14 days of the bed reaching us.

Vacuum upholstery on a low setting and brush velvet in one direction. Blot spills rather than rubbing, and never use upholstery shampoo on a pile fabric. Keep the lift path clear and check the bracket bolts once a year.
