TV Beds

A TV bed hides a television inside the footboard and lifts it out at the press of a button. No wall to drill, no bracket on show, and no chest of drawers lost to a TV stand. When you're finished, the screen drops back inside and the bed is just a bed again.

How a TV bed works

A motorised lift sits inside the footboard. The remote raises a bracket carrying your television to eye level from the pillow — about eleven seconds — and lowers it flush again afterwards. A single 13A plug powers it. No wiring in, no electrician, and the cable runs inside the frame so nothing is visible from the front or sides.

What TV will fit?

Three numbers decide it:

  • Screen size — up to 43 inches on most frames, up to 32 inches on singles.
  • Depth — maximum 9cm, because the screen sits inside the housing. This is the one people get caught by.
  • VESA — 100mm or 200mm mounting holes on the back of the TV.

Every product page states the maximum for that bed. Send us a model number through contact and we'll confirm before you order, including if the answer is no.

Choosing a size

With storage, or with sound

Ottoman TV beds add a gas-lift base, so the space under the bed becomes storage as well. Surround sound TV beds build 2.1, 4.1 or 5.1 speakers into the frame, with Bluetooth for a phone. Several beds do both.

Finishes

Velvet, grey and leather, plus bouclé and woven fabrics. Each product page shows the finishes that bed is made in.

Questions

Are TV beds worth it?

They earn their place in a room where a television would otherwise take a wall or a surface, and in rooms where you want the screen gone at night. They cost more than a plain frame plus a stand. We set out both sides in are TV beds worth it?

Is the television included?

Not unless the product page says so. You supply the TV and our delivery team mounts it for you on the day at no charge.

Is the mechanism noisy?

It's a geared 24V motor that soft-closes at both ends of travel: a low hum for about eleven seconds, no clunk when it seats.

What if the lift fails?

It carries the same 5-year guarantee as the frame. Most faults are a part swap — we diagnose from a short video and post the replacement. If that won't fix it, we collect the bed and repair it. Both free.

How long does delivery take?

Five to ten working days. Every bed is built to order, then delivered and assembled in the room you choose, with the packaging taken away. Free across mainland UK.
