Leather TV Beds

TV beds finished in leather and leather-look upholstery. The practical choice in a room where people eat, drink and watch in bed: a damp cloth takes off what a fabric headboard would absorb.

Why leather for a TV bed

  • Wipe clean. Spills sit on the surface rather than soaking in, which matters most on the footboard, where hands rest while the screen rises.
  • Hard-wearing. Bonded and faux leather stand up to nightly use better than a light-coloured weave, and don't show marks from a headboard being leaned against.
  • It hides the housing. A dark, flat surface disguises the line where the screen emerges, so the footboard reads as plain furniture when the TV is down.

Black or brown?

Black is the usual choice with a 43-inch screen, because the bezel and the bed read as one piece when the television is up. Brown and tan suit a room with wooden furniture. If you want softness instead, see velvet TV beds, or grey TV beds for something between the two.

Care

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it off. Keep leather-look upholstery out of direct sunlight, which dries and cracks the surface over time, and don't use solvent or abrasive cleaners on it.
