The storage

Lift from the foot of the bed and the whole mattress platform rises on gas struts, so the full footprint of the bed becomes storage — room for spare duvets, pillows and out-of-season clothes, with nothing to pull out into the room. Leave space at the foot of the bed so you can lift the platform and stand while you reach in.

Sizes

• Double (4ft6) — takes a standard UK double mattress, 135 × 190cm.
• King (5ft) — takes a standard UK king mattress, 150 × 200cm.
• Super King (6ft) — takes a standard UK super king mattress, 180 × 200cm. The bigger the bed, the bigger the storage base.

Care

Vacuum the chenille on a low setting and blot spills rather than rubbing. Keep the lift path clear and check the bolts once a year.

Free to mainland UK. Built to order in our own workshop, then delivered by our own team — into the room you choose, assembled, with the lift tested before they leave and the packaging taken away. Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and offshore addresses are quoted separately before you pay.

Five years on the frame and the lift mechanism, and two years on the upholstery. Most faults are fixed by posting you the replacement part; if that will not resolve it, we collect the bed and repair it at the workshop. Both are free, including carriage.

Fourteen days from delivery to change your mind. Our beds are built to order in standard sizes and fabrics, so that right applies in the normal way. We collect free of charge and refund within 14 days of the bed reaching us.

Vacuum upholstery on a low setting and brush velvet in one direction. Blot spills rather than rubbing, and never use upholstery shampoo on a pile fabric. Keep the lift path clear and check the bracket bolts once a year.
