Thera Pillow Headboard Upholstered Bed

The Thera is a low, deep, fully upholstered bed with a double pillow-style headboard — two cushioned sections that give you a soft backrest for sitting up in bed, rather than the hard edge most headboards give you.

It keeps its padded depth all the way round, with low-set wooden feet underneath, so the whole frame looks grounded rather than perched.

The deep padding makes the frame noticeably longer than the mattress, so measure the length of the room, not just its width.

Made from

Wood and metal internal frame, foam filling, wooden legs, 100% polyester chenille upholstery. Sprung slatted base, which flexes with the mattress and lets air move underneath. The bed in the photographs is the 5ft King.

Storage

This is a plain frame, with 20cm of open space beneath. If you want the whole area under the bed to lift up instead, see our ottoman storage beds.

Delivery and assembly

Free delivery across mainland UK. It arrives in 2 boxes — the longest about 237cm and the heaviest about 79kg, so check the route in. Our own two-person team assembles it in your room and takes the packaging away. 5-year guarantee on the frame, 2 years on the upholstery. Mattress not included.

Care

Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth. Don't use abrasive or chemical cleaners on the chenille.

Free to mainland UK. Built to order in our own workshop, then delivered by our own team — into the room you choose, assembled, with the lift tested before they leave and the packaging taken away. Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and offshore addresses are quoted separately before you pay.

Five years on the frame and the lift mechanism, and two years on the upholstery. Most faults are fixed by posting you the replacement part; if that will not resolve it, we collect the bed and repair it at the workshop. Both are free, including carriage.

Fourteen days from delivery to change your mind. Our beds are built to order in standard sizes and fabrics, so that right applies in the normal way. We collect free of charge and refund within 14 days of the bed reaching us.

Vacuum upholstery on a low setting and brush velvet in one direction. Blot spills rather than rubbing, and never use upholstery shampoo on a pile fabric. Keep the lift path clear and check the bracket bolts once a year.
